This section is about my life,
which will probably bore you to death. My psychologist tells
me that writing web logs is a very helpful way to ensure
that the hospital's psych board will consider my petition
for transfer from the maximum-security area.

Recordings
and Reunions
My work one Saturday morning gave me an opportunity
to connect with past friends who had to voice two of my
segments over the radio – Debi Go and Aileen Ramos - Cruz.
PUP
Reloaded
Last March, I visited my school at Sta. Mesa, Manila to get
my college diploma certified as authentic (one of the
requirements for PAEF's Fulbright Scholarship). Last time I
was at PUP was in 2000 to get another copy of my transcript.
Pizza
with Belle and Aline
Last August 3, I invited two fellow office-mates from FEBC
Philippines for a night-out at Shakey's.
My
Dad The Pope
My father is retired from being a Public Utility Jeepney
driver. A lot of our friends from church (the Sapphire
Church and Christ Enthroned Church - Meycauayan) have been
telling us that my father Jimmy Daga Anzures) looks like
Pope Benedict XVI.
Office
Pixies
I once worked for an international radio network. After our
barkada of broadcasters and writers finished eating a spiced
eggplant salad as a peace offering by one of the announcers,
we decided to get really wild and freaky that night in the
radio compound.
The MRT and
Graduate School
For a time, Janet (my sister) used to go to work riding the
MRT. Going home, it’s the LRT. Little did she know na ang
kanyang pamamangka sa dalawang ilog would lead to the loss
of her poise and composure!
Janet and
Niņa at SM City
Last October 1, Saturday, I went to SM City Marilao for a
reunion with my former office-mates (or what's left of them)
from Far East Bank and Trust Company (which was
unfortunately swallowed by a bigger bank).
Church
Sportsfest
Last June, our church (Christ Enthroned Church in Meycauayan, Bulacan) had a sports fest. Janet, my only
sister, got to "play" volleyball, and wear a uniform. My
father, Jimmy, the one with the white hair, had a mime drama
to entertain the crowd in Valenzuela.
Balikbayan
Box
My aunt and my cousins regularly send us clothes, Christmas
goodies, gadgets and other useful items from the USA. It's
our family's job to make sure that these gifts get to our
aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Mom's
Retirement
My mother retired years ago as Section Chief at the Bureau
of Internal Revenue in Manila. She’s currently the Senior
Citizens Cell Leader at Christ Enthroned Church in
Meycauayan, Bulacan.

Testimonials
Jonnie, how can I say this right? I think you're one of the
most creative people I know.
Everytime I drink San Mig coffee or Nescafe 3-in-1, I
remember our fun batch of romance writing people. Cheers!
I just saw your Far East Bank photos! My gosh! I worked at
FEBTC back in those days after I gave up being a copywriter.
I was assigned at the Sta. Mesa branch. Those were the days.
Over! Lagi kaming busy sa branch na 'yan. These days, (the
location)is Bank One. It's the one across SM Centerpoint.
Hay naku! Daming karakter kong na-meet diyan.
Ako
naman, not really, LOL! Kasi yung napuntahan kong branch,
kaka-imbyerna mga utaw. Super dami ng clients lagi. Kung mag-lunch
ako noon 4:00 PM na! Grabeh. Ganda lang yung location -- ang
lapit sa SM Centerpoint.

Bwahahahaha!
Sige,
visit ko yung YouTube mo later after work.
contact members. I'm sure marami kang kakilala dito na
napag-atrasuhan mo, he he he.
Masaya. Parang balik sa year 1987.

Knows who my "exs" are

Hey Joni!
Happy birthday to the one and only "Mr. Hoy Hoy Hoy!" Sorry
folks, but the etymology of the term is not for public
consumption, he he! Too embarrassing -- for Joni! (ha ha
ha!).
Joni's humor, I like because it's dry and
(pa)intellectual (ha ha ha!). He mixes his love for words
and love for the Lord and blends them perfectly well to
create a rich tapestry of programs showcasing the beauty and
uniqueness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Way to go Joni and
thanks for allowing yourself to be taken for a ride a looong
loong time ago. Maglibre ka na! Mwahahaha!
Hoy
hoy hoy!
