Light
and Sound
I've posted some videos I made for Back to the Bible -
Philippines, International Bible Society, Christ Enthroned
Church, Faith Bible Church, Proclaim His Name Christian
Fellowship and others from 2003 up to today. I mainly used
Sony Vegas 7 for my work since it’s the most easiest to
handle, requires less CPU horsepower and the changes I make
(plus the video preview) are in real time.
For the audio productions, I used Sound Forge 9 (for editing)
and Vegas Pro 8 (for mixing). Most of it are for my radio
segments and two are for radio dramas for the Lenten and
Christmas Seasons.

The
Prayer Mantis
Video, Christ Enthroned Church
Pastor Rigor Ylasco of Christ
Enthroned Church approached me one day and asked if I could
do a video promo for the Dawn Watch Prayer Group. Initially,
I hesitated because it was difficult to convince church
people to come very early in the morning to pray in the
church. My father suggested that I treat it lightly by using
a praying mantis and show how it “prays”. Anyway, I added
Ray Charles’ It’s Not Easy
Being Green and I came up with
one my favorite videos.
Mission
Possible (2009)
Video, Back to the Bible
A promotional video introduction for Pastor Clem Guillermo's
Family Life Seminars. It features Back to the Bible -
Philippines' broadcasters for its radio programs. Voiced by
Dawn Stephanie Shangkuan - Ong and inspired by the
Mission Impossible films and the Command and
Conquer - Red Alert PC games.
GNBA

Promotional Video

production ministries around the world which produce their

their programmes with people and some radio broadcasters.
Bringing
Filipinos
Back to the Bible
Video, Back to the Bible
In the Philippines, the first Back to
the Bible English radio program was aired over 702 DZAS on
June 5, 1948. Realizing the need for a support center for
Filipinos listening to the broadcast, Rev. Howard and
Virginia Eppler founded the Philippine office in their own
home in Caloocan City on June 15, 1957. And for almost 50
years of broadcasting in the Philippines, the Back to the
Bible program has never ever been off the air – a tribute to
God’s power to sustain the ministry amidst the political and
social upheavals in the Philippines.

Testimonials

Naku, eto
pong classmate ko nuong college way back 1991 (upss, nabisto
ba ang age?)
Sa pagkakatanda ko, super patpatin po nitong si
Jonie with super kapal ng salamin. Kapag may play nga kami
sa PUP (sa mga di nakakaalam, Mass Communications po ang
course namin) pustahan pa kami ng mga barkada ko kung
nakakakita pa sya (hehe, pilya noh).
Pero iba talaga si Mr.
Anzures. One of the top yan. Siya ang pinakamahusay sa amin
noon. Kahit saan mo isabak, mapa-drama, hosting, TV, radio,
stage play, sarsuwela etc. Nanlilibre pa ha (remember McDo?).
Ngayon, palagay ko masaya na siya at hindi ako magtataka
kung successful na sya ngayon dahil deserved nya lahat yon.
Sayang di na tayo nagkita ulit after graduation day. Please
keep in touch, ha? Promise?
Wish you all the best in life
and regards! Mabuhay PUPians!!

Patawa ka
talaga! You're the only one I'll probably know who did what
you did!
Great idea to avail of free psychometric tests and
mental calisthenics!
May tama ka. The perks you'll be
getting from a call center ay di puwedeng i-compare sa level
ng perks that you get from working in a ministry.
For one,
the film scholarship you're getting will never be offered in
a call center. Sa ministry mas malinaw ang ginagawa mo. Sa
call center, naku, detour lang na walang katuturan.
For my part, I've stuck to ESL. I love the profession, but I
miss broadcasting work. Babalikan ko yan, mabigyan lang ng
opportunity!
O siya. Goodnight na and have a great day!
