Light
and Sound
I've posted some videos I made for Back to the Bible -
Philippines, International Bible Society, Christ Enthroned
Church, Faith Bible Church, Proclaim His Name Christian
Fellowship and others from 2003 up to today. I mainly used
Sony Vegas 7 for my work since it’s the most easiest to
handle, requires less CPU horsepower and the changes I make
(plus the video preview) are in real time.
For the audio productions, I used Sound Forge 9 (for editing)
and Vegas Pro 8 (for mixing). Most of it are for my radio
segments and two are for radio dramas for the Lenten and
Christmas Seasons.

Christian Fellowship
A simple production on the birth of PCF and how it became a
strong church through the many trials and challenges it
encountered as it charted a new course. The church produced
several video CDs that were sold during their anniversary.
The video was also one of the highlights of their
anniversary held at the Asian Theological Seminary chapel.

Woodrow Kroll. The theme music is from The Rock and
Tropical Depression's Kapayapaan.
Men of Integrity
Video, Back to the Bible
Part of our 50th Anniversary Celebration at Back to the
Bible – Philippines was to pay tribute to our broadcasters. The idea
was for them to be called upstage and acknowledged for their work
with our ministry. I was trying to find a way on how to do it when
Rudy Ramirez, our studio technician, mentioned that Kuya Efren
Pallorina recorded a short free-verse poem on integrity (The World
Needs Men).
Rudy was a genius (although some of my office-mates
disagree), and I got his idea in using the voice over. Record the
voices of the broadcasters doing “candid” voice-overs, add Rev. Mike Lacanilao’s voice laced with music from Band of Brothers and
Medal
of Honor (it’s a PC game), and you’ve got a video and a radio spot
worthy of a 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Testimonials

Hey Joni!
Happy birthday to the one and only "Mr. Hoy Hoy Hoy!" Sorry
folks, but the etymology of the term is not for public
consumption, he he! Too embarrassing -- for Joni! (ha ha
ha!).
Joni's humor, I like because it's dry and
(pa)intellectual (ha ha ha!). He mixes his love for words
and love for the Lord and blends them perfectly well to
create a rich tapestry of programs showcasing the beauty and
uniqueness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Way to go Joni and
thanks for allowing yourself to be taken for a ride a looong
loong time ago. Maglibre ka na! Mwahahaha!
Wish ko lang sa
iyo, lumabas ka na sa lungga mo at ilibre mo naman kami! Hoy
hoy hoy!

Voice Over Talent and Broadcaster
Hi,
classmate. Di ko pwedeng malimutan si Jonnie. Angat ika nga.
Siya lang ang pwedeng mag-report na kahit tatlong oras.
Hindi nauubusan.
Sobrang resourceful at talented. Lahat na
yata ng kailangan para sa presentation meron 'yan. Kaya nga
swerte ako kapag ka-group ko 'yan eh. Less effort ako.
Hayy,
ang sarap alalahanin ng PUP days kahit di na tayo nagkikita.
Malapit ng mag 20 years -- he he he. Nabisto na edad. One
year to go and life begins at 40 -- he he he.
Ang daya ng
iba nating classmate. Nag-papabata sa Friendster -- he he
he. Sana magka-reunion tayo. I-organize mo kaya.
Ganun ka pa
rin. The only and forever talented. Kamsahamnida! God bless!

Hola
from CA. Hi there, Bro. Jonnie. It's nice to hear from you. Maraming salamat sa pagtanggap.
Si Leah nga ang nagsabi na
nandito ka at i-invite kita. Of course, I'll view your blog.
Cris and I are still happily married. He's stationed here in
California at kasama kami. We just got here four months ago.
We already have two boys -- 10 and 5 years old and expecting
another one in March.
What's up with you na ba? It's a good
thing there's Friendster at nakita ka namin. Kay Ahvic kita
nakita. Wala ka pa ring ka-kupas-kupas sa pagsulat.
Sila
Nova, Emma, Rhodora Jones, Sonny at yung iba nagkikita-kita
pa rin kami minsan. Sana'y may panahon na magkita-kita tayo.
Masarap pagusapan ang life natin sa PUP.
O sige, keep in
touch. Ingat lagi.

As I fondly recall, Jonnie made my brain squirm with
his fascination for hard-to-digest movies, literary pieces,
comics classics and other fixations requiring a Menzi
qualification.
He enjoys monologues that interrupt his very thought
patterns but quite easily relates to others outside his
cerebrum.
He makes me laugh and I'm missing his jokes although he
does make the effort to keep me posted with all the oceans
between us.
