With Light
I use a
professional camera but I'm not a professional.
My need to learn photography came when I noticed that no one
in particular was covering our numerous church events. I
borrowed a small compact film camera and took pictures which
I later mounted at the church bulletin board. In college, I
bought my own Kodak compact and regularly covered church and
family events.
Decades later, I'm still learning and joining photo contests
although I seldom win.

City Car Show (2006)
During my Aunt Yoly's visit from the USA, we watched You, Me and
Dupree at SM City The Block's cinema. At the same time, there was a
rare vintage car exhibit. I used a borrowed Kodak CX 4310 digital
compact camera for this.

Photo Contest (2005)
Dr. Dimamay e-mailed Vanessa a contest ad by the Discovery Channel
(The Nokia and Discovery Channel MobiFilms Contest 2005). It was
hard to resist this contest especially when the grand prize was a
Nokia N90.

Centennial Photo Contest (1998)
Due to the success of the first
photography contest, the bank decided to have another one. This
time, since it was 1998, the theme would be the Philippine
Centennial.

Hometown Photo Contest (1997)
This was the first I used a Canon EOS film SLR. Before that,
I only saw it on magazines or in shops. In about 24 hours, I
had to familiarize myself with an SLR that was one of the
best at that time.

Snake, a legendary infiltrator and saboteur. His physique is
based on Van Damme, while his facial appearance was based on
Christopher Walken.

into tribes of Stone Age dwellers.
 TWISTED
METAL
Twisted Metal is a demolition derby that permits the usage
of ballistic projectiles, machine guns, mines, including
satellite-based and nuclear weapons.
 KILLER
INSTINCT
Ultratech is a very powerful
mega-corporation which organizes a tournament called Killer
Instinct. Along with regular participants, experimental
creatures created by Ultratech also fight in the tournament
so their strength can be tested.
